Pilot: The beginning

Hello World!

This is my first introductory post for this newly created blog. I was thinking about it for a while and today finally jumped over the fence and manged to do it. Hopefully will find time to keep it relevant as well.

I have been in software development for many years and have my fair share of experience with good, bad and the ugly in various compartments of software industry.

I also have some cautionary tales to tell, gotchas to share, lesson learned and eureka moments to re-live.

Before we go any further, I will admit that my writing skills definetely need much more improvements and I am hoping that this blog will help me to get more experience in this area as well. So, please bear with me during this transition.

I am a software solution developer and over the years worked in many international companies. My primary technology stack is .NET but I also gets my hands dirty with other languages and frameworks as well.

So, what can you expect on this blog, well I am planning to write about real world application scenarios and try to explain my approach in designing small but workable solutions (which could be extended later). As we know there are many ways to skin a cat, and I wont dare to say which approach is better but the whole intention is that the solution is understandable and easy to implement.

In this series, upcoming posts will be about device communications, protocols, theory etc. Recently, I was involved in programming applications for industrial devices and while searching for examples and guidance online, I was surprised that how there were very few of those compare to other areas of programming. So, I would like to share my research on those and would like to hear your side of the implementation stories as well and hopefully we could share the knowledge and learn from each other.

Looking forward to this journey.

Have a nice day! and Happy Coding.
